  • Rick's Tropical Delight,
Did you use bread dough or pizza dough?

  • Michael B,
that's the white dinner roll frozen dough balls...[p]cut the risen dough balls in pieces, then layer dough, brown sugar, melted butter, walnuts. 400 for 20 minutes.[p]cool, then cut in half and drizzle honey on the cut, whipped cream, and a little chocolate sauce.......................[p]i seasoned the flower pots in the oven today with vegetable oil and taking them to 400 degrees twice and cooling between cycles...

Rick's Tropical Delight,[p]but i don't have any finished photos of the hens because:
    i forgot
    batteries dead
    no film
    guests ate it too quick
    dropped camera in porta-john
feel silly taking photos of food
no one wants to see this
    memory card full
    lens cap still on lens
don't know how to post pix
    the camera wouldn't focus[p]

    Rick's Tropical Delight,
Man o man that looks good. If this ice keeps up and church is canceled I might try this in the morning. If not then I've got to do this one soon. I wonder how it would work out in a loaf pan. I've got a nice thick glass one.

  • Rick's Tropical Delight,[p]Sounds great!
  • dhuffjr,
no doubt! i just dug canals in the slush and ice so my driveway could drain.[p]try it in the loaf pan, sure why not? [p]i've got one of those left, so i'll be having one with you in the morning

  • RRP,
the only thing that was definite was three roll dough balls per 3" pot. i guess you're supposed to roll the dough ball pieces in melted butter and then brown sugar/cinnamon to coat, but i just put in one cut up dough ball, maybe 4-5 pieces, then sprinkled some brown sugar, then some walnuts, then drizzled melted butter over, then repeat for two more layers. i put a piece of parchment paper over the hole in the pot and made individual drip pans out of foil because some sugar juice will leak out and get on the pizza stone it you don't.[p]so the drill was:
    let dough rise,
cut dough into pieces and layer in pots, let rise again... then bake. i forgot the cinnamon last night![p]the honey, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce really wasn't necessary, but what the heck, eh?
