For years I thought modern chickens came withour giblets. I rediscovered them when I started to bbq. The tradition continues, the cook gets the giblets....tom

I agree they are good fried (Ga. boy here), but these days I tend to grind them for making a really rich brown stock. We used to fight over the "batchelor's button" (chicken tail bit) when I was a kid.

my dad always called that part the pope's nose.

alb,[p]I like to grind giblets in with hamburger meat then when I serve them to friends, I just sit back and listen to them talk about how much flavor my burgers have!!!!
