Hey gang havent been on for 2 weeks. Just got back from BassPro in Spld Mo. They had the biggest BBQ cook off I ever saw,and it was for charity-thats nice. Seven entries for whole hog, totally great presentation. They sold 450 judges tickets. This was for people who wanted to taste all the entries at each booth. There was a lot of "big to do" folks cookin. Lurking in a few spots were BGE's. I am so biased toward BGE,but in all fairness the BGE entries were far more moist and tender than so of these big time folks with the big trailers and thousands invested. Taste did not go to the BGE folks but moist and tender was no contest. I'll own a BGE as long as I live. Brisket cooking now at my house. Good sat. to all
