Cedar Plank Help

Looking at the forum this morning I am once again I am seeing pics of great looking cedar planked salmon and want to give the method a try. I have been looking around to purchase planks locally but can not believe what the cooking / BBQ places want for the planks! 5 bucks for a 6” x 8” piece seems wild. What is a good price? Is there a great source on line?
