Wine Marinade!!

The wife is out of town so last night I had to do some experimenting (she likes what she likes and would rather not try my experiments until perfected). [p]Last night I had a GREAT steak. I used a little Burgundy wine to marinade a filet over night. I added a little S&P and then seared it(2/2/4). I was surprised to have one of the best steaks ever! [p]Worth a try! [p]Smokey

    Smokey,[p]Congrats on the steak. I had a steak at a brew pub once the was marinated in bourbon. It was dang good too. Tried it once at home, but over cooked the steak. I'll have to try it or your version with the wine again.[p]Jethro

    Jethro,[p]I wanted to let it marinade overnight in some bourbon, but there was none in the house so I made due with the wine. Bouron/mustard will be a done soon![p]Smokey!
