I've got my mini in the kitchen sink for spring cleaning. Can anyone tell me the easiest way to remove the felt gasket, please? Julie

  • J Appledog, scrape with a sharpened putty knife. Also for more aggressive removal OUTDOORS 3M makes a abbrasive wheel called a paint and rust remover that goes in a 1/4 power drill that works real well and won't damage the egg. I finished up then with a pumice stone and it was sparking white when done. Happy Scrapeing! PS I LOVE your disappearing mustard!!!!!!

    one feral kat,
My Disappearing Mustard is going quickly. You might even say it is actually disappearing.
Still have not cracked ino the jerk seasoning yet. The Dangerously Hot Sauce was killer, and the pistachios are out of this world. Great products.[p]The mustard is extremely versatile.
    Poof!

one feral kat, Thanks; I'm trying to do this with items on hand. I'll sacrifice my pumice stone. JCA
    Glad you like the mustard!

  • Nature Boy, LOL talk about similarity! I bought 3 mustards and two jerk. Nearing midpoint on bottle #2 of mustard, but haven't had the time yet to use the jerk, but came within a hair last night on some thick pork chops, but went with Char Crusr standby...no offense meant, Julie! ^oo^~
