Terrific Ham! (PICS)

I egged a ham in December and it was a huge hit.
I know you've all heard this phrase before but this ham
was "the best we'd ever had"! Everyone agreed. It was
a beautiful, big, bone in ham and I used a tried and true
marinade, the main ingredients of which are brown sugar
and diced jalapeno peppers. You can see the small bits
of pepper in the close up shot. I can post the recipe
if anyone is interested but I don't have it handy at the
moment. I did it indirect on the platesetter at around
350 dome. [p]Here is a close up shot of the ham on the egg. There is a bit of
white bone poking out of the centre at the top.
This is a shot of the whole meal of ham, cheese potatoes, wheels of fried goat cheese that topped the green salad, sweet peas, caramelized onions, and some dinner rolls. Delicious!
I just included this shot so you could see that honkin' bottle of wine at the top. It was a three litre bottle! The KA mixer to the left should give it some size perspective.
[p]It was a great meal.[p]Cheers,[p]John

Newbs,
That is one great cook my friend. I saw your cook temp. Can you tell me the weight of the ham and app. cook time? Really a nice piece of work. Right now I'm doing a pulled beef. Thanks and have a good day, AZ John

Newbs,[p]It doesn't look like you have much food....how many were you feeding..a couple!!

icemncmth,[p]Just me...ha![p]Let's see...me, my wife, my parents, my two brothers and their wives, my sister and her husband, my daughter, her boyfriend, my son, and eight nieces and nephews....that makes 21. We had leftovers...but not much.[p]

AZ Traveler,[p]Sorry. Can't recall. It must have been around 15lbs. For temp and timing, I simply followed the recommendation on the ham wrapper but it didn't take too long at all.
I'll be doing it again. I'll be sure to get you the details. [p]John
