Has anyone heard of a leg of lamb recipe where you marinade it in buttermilk?? Also while looking in the archives I saw a lot of raves about JJ's lamb recipe but can't find it as well.
Help on either would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

YB,
I recommend cooking it medium rare -- check with a good cookbook for what the internal temp for that would be. Cooking it more fully than that seems a shame with good lamb, unless someone finds medium rareness aversive. We did a butterflied leg medium rare recently and it was wonderful -- km

KenM,
140* as I indicated in my post to Fritz is medium rare.

JJ,[p]All right! Love your rub, btw, but then, who doesn't? -- km
