I enjoy going to Brazilian Steak houses many of them serve a dish called Picanha which is a simple preperation of sea salt, garlic powder, and ground pepper on a rump cover steak (I got this from searching on the internet) cooked on a rotiserie The write up on the web also said this is a very popular cut in South America, but many US butcher do not sell the cut. I would love to cook this cut on the egg because it is very taste. In my most recent visit to a restraunt I inquired and the waiter mentioned tri-tip is where it come from....I think he may be incorrect because from photos the cuts do not look the same. I am hopeing someone can point me in the right direction so that I can try talk my local butchers into getting me this cut.
