Hi All, [p]Anyone experiment with using flavored cream cheese in ABT's or any other combination? Like Pineapple cream cheese with ham and bacon?

    Buster Dog BBQ,
Cant say that I ever have...but ABT`s are about as customizable as anything can be.....I dont think you could put anything in em and have em come out bad.....let us know what your eggsperiments end up like.[p]Wess

    Buster Dog BBQ,
Sounds good! I think that's what makes ABTs so good, that surprise first bite. Heat from the pepper then the cheese and the filling like the little coctail sausages. Or the maple bacon, or the blue cheese or feta cheese in the middle, and on and on.

    Buster Dog BBQ,
Like, what is your favorite pizza? A lot of stuffings can be put inside of a pepper. When you come up with a mix that knocks your socks of,keep us informed.

  • Buster Dog BBQ,
I've used veggie and salmon stuffed in by themselves and regular with lump crab mixed in. All was good.

    Buster Dog BBQ,
I have tried many combinations. My family prefers Philadelphia Cream Cheese, topped with Italian Precuitto (sp) ham & wrapped with one half slice of bacon.[p]I cook them @ 250 indirect until the bacon is done.[p]

  • Buster Dog BBQ,
I tried a couple of the flavored cream cheeses and didn't like them at all. I also tried the whipped and Lite cream cheese and didn't notice any difference than the real thing. In fact, I thought whipped was easier to spread. But I was probably under the influence of a few rums and cokes so what do I know?[p]Spring "Getting Easier To Spread Every Day" Chicken

    Buster Dog BBQ,
I mix a little rub in the cream cheese and a little mozzarella or parmesean cheese as well.[p]Rarely have I used just straight cream cheese.
