Nature Boy:[p]Nice pictures . . . Looks like you guys ate real well!

Nature Boy,
If you weren't mambers of PETA (People for the Eating of Tasty Animals) before, you sure are now. Looks like Southern Michigan. Up in the Keweenaw Peninsula they get 350 inches or more of snow per season. Eat on.

Nature Boy,[p]Brrrrrrrrr. I am going to turn our heat up -- cold here today and that picture makes it colder. Brrrrr[p]You took two Eggs this time -- they must love you.[p]Tim

Nature Boy,[p] Holly Smokes Chris, those are cool pictures,in more ways than one. I thought I was strange when I take my Egg moose hunting in October but then again, I knew you loved to camp & it is great to see you get so much enjoyment out of it
The twins have no idea, what great adventures they have comming to them when they get older.Great job!![p]Earl[p]

Nature Boy,[p]Sure are pretty pics NB. That pork looks awfully nice also. Thanks for sharing.[p]Troy

Nature Boy,[p]Great pics. Were you camping, hunting or both. Looks like a pork sholder on the medium (or is it a small).[p]Smokey
-
Fireball,
They only get 150 inches a year or so out there. Cool place though, and in many ways it does remind me of the UP of Michigan.
Cheers! Ribs on now.

Nature Boy,
Great shots there Chris!
Funny how the Eggs look right at home there![p]That must have been an awfully big "back pack" you were carrying!!!! :-)))[p]Dr. Chicken

Actually in May I am taking the twins, my dad, and some friends with their kids up to these cabins near the place that we camped. Pretty rustic, but there are beds. One cabin has a propane fridge and oven/stove. No electricity. No running water. Both eggs will be coming along on the trip again![p]We went by there last week to check it out....here is the picture.
See yall soon

Smokey,
Just camping. And tons of eating. Oh yeah. And some beers.
Much of the days were spent 4-wheel cruising on the snowy mountain roads.[p]That was the large egg, and the small in the picture. The butt was on the large.
Cheers!

Dr. Chicken,
Thanks. And ooh boy. The eggs were definitely at home. Can't wait to drag em out to the cabin for some more serious cookin.[p]I wish they had a backpackable version!
cheers to ya

Nature Boy,
If I lived to be a million years old, I would never understand why you would take those things camping...[p]

Q.N.E. tyme,
The guys who were with me had no complaints. We had ribeyes, ribs, pulled pork and brisket.
Not bad for camping food.
Cheers

Nature Boy,[p]That one nice pic. I think my computer needs a new desktop immage![p]Smokey

Nature Boy,[p]Nice pics. Camping with the Egg sounds tempting, but I've seen too many horror movies to venture into the woods.[p]Regards,

Q.N.E. tyme, think of it this way Dylan. The warmth and friendship bonding between a man and his new best friend. The continued love and friendship twixt a man and his "egg". At least in the woods, one cannot be observed huggin his "egg" in his estacy over a fine cook of Boston Butt or Squigglies...Look at the extra glow of NB's Butt picture. No I mean the one in the BGE..They seem to have a irradiance all their own..Almost spiritulistic glow.
Sigh....

Char-Woody,[p]You have a gift of painting wonderful mental pictures CW. Now, if I could just get the mental image of that butt out of my mind.[p]Troy

Nature Boy,
OK, I'll go along with it, but I'm afraid you will have to give up your handle of Nature Boy... Yeah From now on you have to be "All the Comforts of Home" Boy... Or how about
"Next time I'm lugging the Toilet" Boy.. :-)[p]

Q.N.E. tyme,
Does that mean the he has to leave the vacuum-packed BGE Beef Jerky at home when he heads out for one of those long backpacking trips in the middle of nowhere.[p]Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee,
RhumAndJerk[p]

RhumAndJerk,[p]"Sorta Close to Nature Boy" told me that he takes his Foodsaver with him. I think it's battery-powered, though.[p]:-)[p]Lee[p]

Q.N.E. tyme,
naw. Still entitled to Nature Boy. I have over 400 nights of wilderness camping in the bag, with many more to come. I enjoy the gourmet camping from time to time though, and like to go full-comfort. I stop short of the gas generator and the VCRs and heaters though. [p]I have to admit though, even on the backpacking trips I am into hauling more extra comfort than others. Might as well be comfy when you are out there, Dylie![p]Sounds like you might need to get out for a few days of wilderness...eh?[p]Latah

QSis,
SCTNB! I like it. Battery powered food saver. Hmm. Nice idea.
We usually don''t have any leftovers though...and it is usually cold enough to keep stuff. Not a bad idea though. A foodsaver probably doesn't need too much power. hehe

Nature Boy,
As a matter of fact I'm going this weekend...[p]Dylan
-
Q.N.E. tyme,
You gonna cut your toothbrush in half to save weight?
Enjoy!! hope you have great weather.

-
Nature Boy,[p]My favorite camping weather. No bugs, no rangers, and no neighbors! I'm jealous. Looks like a fun, relaxing time. Congrats.[p]P.S. Even beer in glass bottles. You did go top shelf :-).[p]Spin
-
sprinter, which one?? :-)
-
Nature Boy,
Toothbrush??? I'm only going for a week... Thanks, weather is supposed to be perfect..[p]
