RhumAndJerk, Just put on Jerky via the "fire and smoke" posting..and then a Boston Butt to follow that after I get back from dining out..! Then a pork loin for Saturday or Sunday brunch...I am anxious to try that roast.
First run on the "smokeshop" basket..innovations in progress.
    Great day in C'Iowa..!
    Cheers to ya ...C~W[p]

    Char-Woody,
    That sounds wonderful.
I have wanted to smoke a Boston Butt for a while now, maybe this weekend.

RhumAndJerk, one hour into the basket jerky smoke and hangin on 190 to 200F..stirred once now. That pecan smoke courtesy WiseOne (Bill Wise) sure smells good. 3 pieces of small log 2" diameter x 3 inch long. Great smoke. Using a Texas orientated terryaki seasoning. Wiffys favorite.
I may use that for the Butt tonight as well.
I wonder how Chutney would work in a B'Butt..?? I have a Louisiana Sirloin Roast recipe I gotta try next week on the BGE.
