I'll be cooking a pork crown roast for Christmas dinner this year. Any suggestions on time, temp, setup, etc. for such a roast?[p]Thanks in advance.

DaytonEgger, YB did a nice one at EGGtoberfest (2005 and 2006). here is how he does it:
Crown Roast
A Crown roast is made out of a bone in pork loin. My meat cutter takes a 8 or 9 pound loin with about 14 bones, cuts one inch slits in between each bone and then rolls it in a circle and ties it with butchers twine. [p] Ingredients
8-9 lbs pork loin
1 lb sausage with sage
1 apple
1 onion
1 small package of mushrooms (8 oz) [p]Procedure
1 Chop apple,onion and mushrooms.
2 Brown sausage, onion, apple and mushrooms in a frying pan.
3 Make sure apples, onions, mushrooms and sausage are thorughly mixed and hold the mixture in the bowl.
Cooking
1 Paint the roast with yellow mustard and sprinkle it with salt and pepper.
2 Place the roast on a rack over a drip pan and cook at 350°.
3 Allow the roast to cook for about 2 hours.
4 Remove the roast and put the stuffing in the center of the crown roast.
5 Return the roast to the grill and cook it untill the internal temp reaches 150°.
6 Take it off, let it rest for 15 minutes, cut it up and serve.

Rick's Tropical Delight,[p]There was a breakthrough the other day. She apologized for her outburst after my wife spoke with her about it (we haven't talked with her since the incident). She claims that she had been having a bad couple of days, and just lost it.[p]With any normal person, I would find these developments heartening. But she is a crazy person, and so we are sure to do something else sometime soon to set her off again.[p]If I remember, I'll try to post some pics of the roast when I'm done--if I can stop myself from eating it right away.
