Halcogrill Happiness???!
Orio Kid
Posts: 87
Has anyone had any luck yet with Halcogrills? So far, from what I have read, no one has been very happy with their purchases. I have sent them two emails in the last week and they have not responded.

Orio Kid, the e.mail route is very slow or non existant as I have also found out. Best bet is to call them direct on their 800 number 1-800-368-0803. Once connected they are very courteous and condecending regarding your problem. I had a immediate UPS pickup order for the next work day for UPS.

Orio Kid,[p]Yes, on or about 3/2/01, I received a small egg and nest in perfect shape. I had a large trash bag of popcorn wrapping and styrofoam packing materials. It was sent to Largo, MD.

Orio Kid,[p]I just placed my first order with them yesterday for some Eggcessories. Can't comment on the delivered merchandise just yet but don't expect any problems when my large Egg with locking bands cover and grill extender arrive.[p]Sure seem like nice folks over the phone and their prices are some of the best I have seen. KennyG,
That grill extender is a winner. I use that thing often. I found that it clips right onto a standard oven broiler pan, which makes a perfect indirect setup. enjoy your new toys.....tools.
See you next month!

Tim M,
me too. Where did you get it?

Nature Boy,[p]I first saw the extender at Atlanta Eggfest and should have picked it up right then and there. Looks like a very handy piece. If the company doesn't mess with my schedule, I'll see ya in Waldorf.[p]Is PBR available in that neck of the woods, or do I have to bring my own? hehehe[p]K~G

we have dealt with halco for over a year now. They are reputable and provided me great service whenever I ordered from them, not to worry.

Kennyg,
I got you covered on the PBR, buddy. I got the extender last year and use it all the time, but have not seen Tim's model.[p]Tell your company that this gathering is not opional.

Tim M,
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't BGE have a grid extender that you could invert? Wasn't it featured on the new product section of their web page that I can't find any more. It doesn' look like this one can be inverted. Or were they the one and the same? If they have products like this they should get them on their web site.
