Help with crust inside dome

I've got a thin "crust" of material inside the dome of my Large EGG. It has started flaking off, sort of like peeling paint on the outside of a house. I can scrape it off with the wooden handle of a wire brush. Some has peeled and the rest (after scraping) just shows a noticeable layer of something attached to the dome. Any ideas what this is, and how best to remove?[p]It's a little annoying to have it flaking off onto the Turkey, Ham, etc. that's cooking in the EGG.[p]Thanks,
Walter
