i started this stock last saturday, with a little twist from rick's tropical delight![p]i added two cans of turkey broth instead of water...[p]i browned 4 turkey wings in olive oil, onions, s&p, and garlic.
and into the stock they went till they disintegrated. i'm talking about bones stripped raw!
[p]so i made gravy last saturday with part of the broth, and i saved the chunky stuff in the stock pot in the frige till thanksgiving.
and i added two glasses of water for some liquid, new fresh herbs and the neck and giblets from the second bird. all of the wing meat, was still in there and just giving up the flavor... again!
[p]and then... i wisk! add flour to cold water in a glass and wisk it up before adding to the hot gravy. a pinch of cornstarch near the end...
[p]my family was asking me what i did with rick![p]thanks max! and i hope you don't mind the twists i threw in there, but i had to make it my own.[p](sorry for all the reruns on this story, but i thought i'd put it all in one place.)[p]
