getting hot
I am a newbie owner of a small BGE. Following instructions I can get the temp up only to 250F, maybe at some moments as high as 280F. Even after more than an hour this is a good as it gets. NNot wuite adequate for cooking many things. Is this unique to me? What can I do to fix this? Or do I have a bad unit?
I tried to search the archives, but nothing seemed to work.
Thanks. John Barnes

I assume you are using the lump charcoal and not briquettes. They are a no-no here.[p]If you are using lump charcoal --- add more. You don't have enough in there. [p]Tim
