Boston Butt

Just bought a nice Boston Butt at Kroeger, going for the first one. Is Brant's receipe (from the web site) recomended by Eggpertcs. Haven't done anything near that length of time, turkey being the longest meat I 've cooked. Got the steaks, salmon, burgers and chicken down to an art, time to get creative. I also have not yet mastered regulating the temperatures for long lengths of time.[p]Thanks, Gordy

Gordy,[p]Brant's recipe is as sound and good as the day he offer it. A great meal.[p]Temp control for the long run is easier than you may think. Catch the rising temp as your Egg heats and set the top closed (it will leak enough air to work) and close the bottom to about an 1/8 inch. A stabilized temp is just that - even overnight.[p]You are in for a treat.[p]Spin
