<p />Yo Bob![p]Marinated chicken livers with water chestnut wrapped in bacon. This will pack one heck of a punch... not for the meek![p]john
  • WooDoggies,
Dang! You can come if you bring those!!!!!!!!!! Maybe I'll do the chicken breast version of that. [p]Call me if you have a minute today. we need to catch up on things Woo Boy!

  • fishlessman,
Yeah, that's a good idea. maybe some shrimp, carmelized onions, Pico De gallo, a little firewalk.

  • BBQ Bob Trudnak,[p]How about bacon wrapped water chestnuts that were soaked in soy sauce held together with party tooth pics. Then cooked at 350 with oak smoke in a foil pan with the left over soy sauce for about an hour?[p]Seems to be a favorite around my house.[p]E [p]

BBQ Bob Trudnak,[p]Substituting chicken breast is a great idea... the breast meat would be a heck of a lot easier to handle than the slippery livers. My only concern would be cooking the chicken too long and drying it out. Maybe you could partially cook the bacon beforehand so the meat and bacon will finish at the same time.... how about boneless thighs instead?[p]I'll give you a call later today.... give Fred a thump in the head from me. :~)[p]john

  • WooDoggies,[p]I guess I should have read your post before I posted mine.
