Anyone cooked a Mexican dish called birria in their egg before?
This dish is totally awesome. You can use beef, veal, pork, goat or lamb. Just add some tortillas, beans, and spanish rice. I have had this dish and it is VERY TASTY. Anyway, Id like to see if anyone has done this dish on an egg and what they thought.[p]here is one recipe i found online.[p]http://mexicanfood.about.com/od/deliciousmaindishes/r/authenticbirria.htm

Luis,
Although I live in Mexico, I have never had birria, but looking at the recipes, it looks GREAT an a natural for cooking in the BGE, with a dutch oven or other similar cooker. [p]If you make it, I would lile to see the pictures and hear your reaction.[p]

Luis,[p]I have not made it before. Sounds good though. Here is a different version of the recipe by Rick Bayless:[p]http://www.pepperfool.com/recipes/mexican/birria.html
