Easy/Perfect Spare Ribs

Unknown
edited November -1 in EggHead Forum
I have been planning my purchase of the "Big Green Egg" for a year. I bought it last Saturday and talked a friend into buying one also. A great deal for us both!
I need a easy/perfect (complete w/ instructions) spare rib plan for the football game this Sunday.
Can you help the new green egger?
Thanks

RayBones, Best thing with spares is to plan ahead for the cook and then take em with ya. You can store em in a suitable ice chest and eat em hot at the game. The cook will take 4 to 5 hours at 225 to 250F..low and slow over a drip pan or (?)..Too soon to really set you up for a fine smoke and Q. I would dry rub cook em, and take my sauce on the side.
Probably one of the better webpage postings on spares that I have seen writen is posted here for anyone to view especially beginners in BBQ ribs.
How else can we help ya?
Others will chime in with better comments..
