thanks for the quick response concerning the super bowl pork butt. one last thing what exactly is a chipotle chile and can it be bought in the regular grocery store?

chipotle is smoked red jalapeno, commercially, it comes in a can packed in a sauce. Should be readily available at any supermarket with reasonable mexican section

Correct, usually the can is marked "chipotle in adobo sauce". Some stores have dried ones as well . . .
