Any New Jersey eggers out there ever smoke any of these things? I saw a show on the food network grilling slices for sandwiches. Is this stuff any good? I'm thinking of ordering a 3 or 6 pound roll. They showed putting them with a fried egg & cheese for a breakfast sandwich. The price I saw was $18.99 for a 3lb roll. Thanks, Tom

  • Bajatom,
Taylor Pork Roll is without doubt, the tastiest pork roll available. You can put Taylor Pork Roll on an old shoe and it will be delicious. [p]I have never smoked an entire roll (?) before. But I have on countless occasions cooked slices on a grill. Taylor Pork Roll, egg & cheese is by far the best breakfast sandwich you will ever have. If you are going to buy pork roll, Taylor is unsurpassed.

    Martini Man,
Thanks for the info. I saw the product being fried on a flat grill. I'm just wondering if it would be good sliced up and egged for a while. It comes in a 3 or 6 pound roll. I wonder if you can smoke this bologna? Thanks, Tom

  • BajaTom,
The only similarity pork roll has to bologna is they are both made from left over pig parts. Pork roll has a few extra parts and taste nothing like bologna.
