Lobster tails...

Gonna do beef tenderloin and lobster tails for my Mom's 70th b-day this weekend. Any tips on the lobster would be great as I have never cooked them before. tia.

I am not sure if this is what you had in mind, but here is a link to a lobster stuffed tenderloin that sure looks good. This was posted by mad max beyone eggdome.[p]May actuallly be easier than coordinating the separate cooks.

Thanks Bob....that looks good, but I'm just kinda lookin' for haw to do the tails strait up....Mom likes it simple, lobster on one side of the plate and TL on the other...LOL![p]I'm gonna do that one you posted at a later date for sure...

Madhatter,here is a recipe to try:[p]- Butterfly lobster tail lengthwise, keeping in shell
- baste meat with mixture consisting of:
1 cup white wine
juice of one half lemon or a little more
one fourth cup EVOO(olive oil)
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- place on 600 degree BGE, meat side down for 4-5 minutes
- turn over, baste again with mixture, grill 5-6 minutes or until done
- serve with melted butter if desired[p]You can cook these with the filets at the same time[p]Enjoy[p]
