New XL Spring Assist Pics

<p />Just installed the new spring-assist kit for the XL for a customer of the dealership here in Hiawassee, GA. It basically is two new brackets and a spring on each side. This is a tremendous fix for the XL. The effort to open the dome is now about the same as a medium BGE according to my "feel".

Are these springs supposed to replace these backets that are currently on the side of the xtra large. I got mine about 3 week ago and was wondering if these two are the same or if I should get the spring upgrade

No, these are an add-on and, definitely, get this upgrade. It makes opening and closing the dome a breeze.....
