Low temp success

Several folks on the forum have repeatedly suggested that the secret to low temps is to start the lump with a fire cube from below the firebox. [p]I finally tried that technique this weekend for three slabs of ribs and dang if it didn't work. It took a lot longer to make temp than my normal light from the
top method. For five hours the dome temp never got above 220*, and most of the time I had it at 210*.[p]Cat's Ribs never tasted better. Here's to you, Cat. Hope to see you in Washington.[p]
