Does anyone know of a good recipe for Okra on the grill..I have a bunch of fresh Okra and I need something to do with it?[p]Thanks

  • Place it on skewers, like you would with shrimp or kabobs. Brush it with olive oil, dust with salt and pepper. My wife likes them almost burnt, I on the other hand like mine well done. They taste fantastic. Enjoy!

    Forget the BGE. The only way to cook orka is to slice it and add a like amount of cubed potatoes. Shake it in a bag of 3/4 corn meal and 1/4 flour plus salt to taste until the okra and potatoes are coated. Then fry in hot oil in a cast iron skillet until brown. Drain and enjoy.

    I am sadly missing okra in Ohio. These folks just don't know what good eats are. Okra and potatos is new to me. Sounds interesting though.[p]Grilled is another one I never would have thought of grilled okra.....I am now![p]H
