pork chops

looking to do some good ole simple chops. Will not have time to marinate. What do you suggest for seasoning and temp.???[p]tember

    tember2,[p]If you want simple, try just kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper or Char-Crust smokey, spicey southwest. IMHO thick cut chops (1.5" or so) are best for Egg grilling. Crank up to 650-700* and go 3 minutes per side and then a 5 minute dwell.[p]K~G

    tember2,[p]I say use high heat and sear for 2 minutes per side plus some dwell time (3 or 4 minutes depending on thickness). For seasonings, I say use the Jacques Peppin method of salt, pepper, rosemary, and maybe a little oil.[p]I often do chops like this and love the simple, yet tasty, flavor.
