I have A bone in prime rib for tomorrow. Only had my egg 24 hrs. What is the rub I should put on it tonight. Am planning 2 hrs at 375 with drip pan and V- rack. Is this A good first try? Uncle Dave

Uncle Dave ,
I usually don't cook a PR after the fashion you're refering to. You might look at the New Recipe file under "Dr. Chicken's Old English Prime Rib". The recipe is simple and the results are fantastic. Quite a few on the forum have tried it and found it to be great.[p]Good luck, and good eating![p]Dr. Chicken

Uncle Dave ,[p] Welcome:[p] You did not say the weight of the prime rib.You could use ground pepper , seasoning salt & rub all over with garlic, this should add a nice flavor overall.[p]Earl
