I’ve seen a few posts about temps a frying pan or griddle will get on a direct grid verses dome temperature. While setting up for a brisket cook, I decided to measure the surface temp of the plate setter in a 275 (grid temp) egg stabilized for one hour. It turned out to be 353. [p]BTW, the dome was about 290.[p]Just thought I'd pass it along.
