Texas Snow

edited November -1 in EggHead Forum
Well I don't have a digital camera but I took some pics of the snow we're having in Dallas. I wanted to get a pic and put it on here so all the yankees won't have the monopoly on eggs with snow on top. I'll return when I get the pic developed. About two inches so far, uh the snow that is!

    Sparkplug,
I'm in Fort Worth. Isn't it amazing? I mean, we've had snow before, but this actually stuck for more than a couple minutes. I can tell it's warming up today, though. Should be short lived. Get those pictures![p]One think I was curious on. This is the coldest temp I've cooked in. Last night, the med egg got up to 1100 for steaks in the wink of an eye. Even when I cooled it down for those lobster tails to about 400, as soon as I opened the lid the flames started to roar and the temps went up almost immediately. I've never had that happen from a 400 degree fire. Is it the dry, cold air that produces that? Normally when I open the lid the temps go down a bit. This was amazing. I almost had to wear body armor to flip those tails!
