Polder lead wrapping?

Unknown
edited November -1 in EggHead Forum
I finally have a useful Christmas present a Polder. I'm hopeing it will last a while. What's with the foil wrapping of the probe cableing? Do you find any problems with the dome seal of your BGE after having the cable lead smashed there during a Q?
Thanks,
-=Greg=-

Greg from Eureka, Ca., I think I got the idea from Tim M - just adds a few degrees to the maximum temp that the polder can tolerate - the felt strip pretty much takes care of the air loss - have fun!
