The other day I cooking and noticed that my Taylor Wireless thermometer was reading about 20 degrees high for the dome temperature. So today, I boil water and put in the Egg thermometer and it reads about 180 degrees and stops! Ummm... OK, I now put in both Taylor Wireless thermometers and they both read 212-213 on the dot! Switch probes and they read the same. Had to tweak the Egg thermometer to 212 and now all is at least correct. I've cooked maybe 20 times and I would say you need to check the Egg thermometer fairly frequently. Just and FYI...
