Old 12" Imperial Kamado - Made in Japan

Unknown
edited November -1 in EggHead Forum
I came across a small Imperial Kamado grill today. I've looked at the website and this appears to be an old one. It is made in Japan and has the characters imprinted on the hood.

The exterior is in good shape with no cracks, but the hinge needs to be refurbished a bit and the interior pieces are pretty much broken up.

According to the Imperial Kamado website they don't make any of the replacement parts for this old of a model, but it does appear that it is about the same size as the Small Green Egg. (I've not seen a small one to compare it to.)

Does anyone have any experience with these old imperial kamados. Or, using the Small Green Egg pieces to rebuild it?

The website says that they are "collectibles." Is this true?
