A while back there was some discussion about a spice that is available from Penzey's that was like black pepper but different.
Would someone please let me know what the name of that spice is?
Thanks in advance.[p]Just to check in with you guys...
Sunday night we had brined smoked pork chops
Monday night it was Alder planked salmon
Last night we had Black bean chile cooked on the Egg[p]This past November was the first year anniversary of having the Egg at my house and we're still lov'in it like we just got it.[p]Merry Christmas everybody and thanks for being a part of what must be the best reason for owning a Big Green Egg, this gold mine of ideas and information, the user's forum.[p]Rex

Rex,
I think you are speaking of Grains of Paradise. I don't think Penzeys carries it...I got mine thru cookwares.com (Vann's spices). It is good stuff, though not cheap.[p]Jobu provided a link a ways back that has everything you ever wanted to know about spices, but I lost that bookmark in a crash. Anybody still have that link???[p]Merry Christmas to you and your family, Rex.

Rex,
Man, I better get off this computer! Check out this link...it is not the one Jobu provided last summer, but it has some info on this awesome spice.

Hey, Rex.
I think I found that link to the spice encyclopedia that Jobu turned us onto! This site is awesome.[p]This time, I will back up my bookmarks!
Cheers
