Lil,[p]I use the Spantek (sp?) sitters. They are wire sitters that are lighter and less fragile than ceramic ones. Cleanup is quick and easy. I inherited them and can't help on obtaining sitters.[p]Spin

Lil,
A can of beer is STILL the best for beer butt chicken. It worked great for many years prior to the introduction of the chicken sitter and will be around long after the ceramic sitters fall apart.

I've only done the beer-butt chicken once,and it came out great.Seems to be plenty stable in the egg,but carving the bird wasn't so easy.
