I stored my MAPP gas in what I thought was a water tight container and you guessed it....it wasn't!!! It got wet and now it will not light. Is it ruined? I did open the container it was stored in and I smelled a strong gas odor. I wonder if it somhow was leaning against something and the button was not set to off and it slowlyt released the contents of the MAPP gas torch??? If I replace the MAPP gas with new and it doesn't work....is there anything I can do save it. I don't want to spend another chunk of change for a new one so please help me out with ideas.
