What is the difference between table salt, kosher salt and canning salt? The difference between table and canning seems to be touted as impurities, but I also gather canning salt and kosher salt have no iodine. [p]kosher salt as I understand it, is not itself kosher, but is used for koshering meat and other stuff. [p]it is clear there are things you should use kosher salt for that you should not use table salt for (such as brines and rubs).[p]Is there anything you should use kosher salt for that you should not use canning salt for?
