Smoke and grill

Hopefully this post will bring out all the eggsperts to help in my quest for the perfect Thansgiving dinner.[p]My situation is this: I plan on grilling a 18lbs. turkey on my Genesis and smoking a 12 lbs. turkey on my new "BGE".[p]My question is this: If I want them both to finish @ the same time, how long will the small bird on the egg take. An 18 lbs turkey on the Genesis @ 350 takes about 5 hours if my recollection is correct.[p]E-mail me if you would prefer... :>)[p]Thanks,[p]MickeyT

MickeyT,
Use 15 min per pd with a dome temp of 350* as a barometer.
Appx 3 hrs.

MickeyT,
It should take about twenty minutes per pound. Welcome to the BGE family. Do it between 350 and 375 degrees.
