Injecting brine

I have a question about brining (I'm doing it for the first time). Do you (or can you) inject the chicken, or whatever, with the brine solution prior to putting it in the brine container? Thanks. tstick

tstick, no injection necessary. You just make sure your bird is immersed and the salt and spices will work themselves into the meat. Brining is well worth the effort to assure a moist end result. Good luck.
