Turkey Sitter

Kmoyer,[p]Turkey (and the smaller) sitters work very well in the Egg. I haven't used a turkey sitter in the large, but can report that a 14.5 lb turkey can be cooked on one in the small.[p]Spin

Kmoyer,
I've had a turkey sitter since I got my LArge Egg and have used it many times. I've done a 17.5 lb bidr on it. My guess is that a 20lb might make it...the family raved about how moist the dern thing was and the fantastic gravy it made.
Word of caution, be sure you put the bird and sitter (if you carve it on the sitter) in a deep sided dish or bowl because the juice tha tcomes out is what you want for the gravy.
Good luck[p]Carey

Sundown & Spin,[p]Thanks for the advice! If it's anywhere near as good as a chicken on the chicken sitter, it should be wonderful. I can't wait!
