London Broil

I am planning on cooking some london broil this evening. I am guessing the best way to cook is the high heat-sear and dwell method. Does anyone have any good sugestions on marinades that can be done in an afternoon?

Pug,
I cooked one last week that turned out pretty good.I stabbed it all over on both sides with a salad fork, and then marinated it in Italian dressing and Teriyaki sauce for 4 hours, cooked it at 500 degrees,2 min. each side, closed the egg down and removed the meat after 6 minutes.I sliced it cross the grain and served.

Pug,
Anything with a soy sauce base works well. I use Moore's marinate when I can find it. I do mine for about 5-6 min per side and dwell until it reaches 140 internal(or the doneness you like).[p]Tim

Pug,
This is a pretty quick marinade. Does wonders on beef.
Have fun searing!
