morning folks,
i bought a fresh boneless ham this weekend at a really neat meat
market in Coal Mountain,Ga. I was thinking of cooking it up for pulled pork next week. I don't know why it wouldn't work, but I thought it would be a good idea to check with you folks first. If you
have any suggestions or better ideas please jump in, I'll try just
about anything,once at least. Thanks,Jim

    av8or3,
The fresh ham you have may be too lean for pulled pork. I'm not familiar with all the different cuts but have read some on this forum about fresh hams. The most used cuts for pulled pork is pork shoulder ( boston butt & picnics ). Check with some of the more experienced eggers. LOL, Tom
