Since I'm new posting to the Forum, I thought I'd repay some of the excellent advice and recipes I have received while in "lurk mode".[p]The following recipe has been one of my family's favorites for years. I can't wait to try it on a BGE! Enjoy![p]Hickory Country Style Ribs
From “Grill Crazy with Pork!â€
a publication of the National Pork Producers[p]4 pounds pork country-style ribs, cut into 4 rib portions.
1.5 cups cooking oil
0.75 cup soy sauce
0.5 cup vinegar
0.25 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons dry mustard
1 tablespoon coarsely ground black pepper
2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2 cloves garlic, minced[p]
Combine all ingredients, except ribs; mix well. Place ribs in a shallow dish (or Zip-Loc bag), cover with marinade and refrigerate for 24 hours, turning meat occasionally.[p]Place several pre-soaked hickory chips on hot coals. Remove ribs from marinade and place approximately 6 inches above coals. Close hood of grill. Cook over low heat for about 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done, brushing occasionally with marinade.[p]Serves: 6
