Anyone out there with a digital camera:
I need a picture to demonstrate the elevated grid setup for cooking ribs and briskets. A friend of mine from work, upon hearing of my eggsploits (not a bad term, if I don't say so myself!) went out and bought a large unseen and untasted!!! Imagine that. He called me on Saturday evening to ask me how to set it up to do a brisket. Yes...he actually did a brisket for his initiation cook (turned out pretty well, too!). Despite my best efforts at explaining the method, he still couldn't understand, and ended up placing a drip pan directly onto the coals! Can anyone help me out here?

bdavidson,
Oh, I'd like a pic with firebricks upon which the second grid is suspended rather than a grill extender.

bdavidson,
One easy way to add a drip pan is to place a weber grate between the fire ring and firebox. The grate for the 18 inch weber fits perfectly. You can then place the drip pan on the grate.

Gfw,
Thanks!
