BBQ Guru question

Kingfish
Posts: 1
I just got a Guru to use with my egg and I was wondering what most of you do with the daisy wheel settings. I was planning on just setting the daisy wheel about half open. Is this the right approach? Also, do you put foil over the Guru wires to protect them or just leave them bare? Thanks for the help.

Hi,
I have the 10cfm fan and on my large I normally choke it down to 1/4 and then have only a slightly cracked daisy wheel. BBQGURU recommends not foiling the probe leads.
As a point you may not be aware of, you posted this on biggreenegg.net. Most readers still read the forum on biggreenegg.com, and therefore would not see your post.
posts on bge.com are piped to bge.net, but not visa versa.
I therefore read bge.net and post on bge.com.
You will get more responses to your inquires if you post them on bge.com.
Cheers, Bob
