Tuna steak

Picked up a small Tuna steak the other day and have to cook it tonight. Never tried Tuna before.....any ideas?[p]Thanks.[p]You can tuna piano but you can't tuna fish!!!!

    Tujax,[p]I'd cook it hot and fast leaving it pink/rare in the middle. Anything more and it will dry out and not be very good eating.[p]We are doing yellowfin tuna steaks tonight. About 30 minutes before cooking they will be brushed with a very light coating of toasted sesame oil and soy sauce, then a light dusting of Tsunami Spin and seared and cooked to very rare. This is good stuff![p]John

    Tujax, while Woodoggies is giving you the correct advice, since my wife will not eat "raw" fish, I have cooked tuna well done and it is ok. It took me a couple of cuts to determine that it was not "raw" in the middle, but finally got it to meet her requirements. I prefer it like Woodoggies recommends.

    Hade too many things happening during the cook but I will try again for the rare finish.
