This weekend I will purchase my first egg. I am planning on a small as in my area they go for about $220 with a medium nearly twice as much at $400. Will cook mostly for two people who love ribs and pizza and seldom cook any large meats. A good purchase??

  • JJPLIN,
Buy the medium. I almost purchase a small but ended up with a medium. Boy, am I glad i stepped up one size. We cook mostly for two also, and love pulled pork. Pulled pork is eaiser to cook in a medium or a large. The medium egg will give you greater versatility. Go medium, you will be glad you did.

JJPLIN,[p] Welcome to the form![p] I have a mini & a large Egg, only Barb & myself to cook for
90% of the time but i would still buy a large if the need
arises. When you have company, the extra space comes in very handy. Only you know what extra $$ you have so if the
Med is within that price range,go with it. I have rear from
time to time, some dealer have a 30day trade-up with a full
rebate towards the price of a large. Maybe check with your
    dealer.[p] Earl

    JJPLIN,
Like most EGGERS say, your pocketbook usually has the last word. I have a large cause that was what I saw first,at the time I thought it might be an overkill cause there is only two of us at home,HOWEVER once the kids and neighbors started sniffin' and eating, now the BIG green egg is almost too little. What ever you get it'll be great!
