butterflied leg of lamb

I want to do a butterflied leg of lamb...spread it out, lots of herbs and roll up and tie with string....how to cook it?????thanks

    I buy them at Sam's. Once you roll it back up and tie it up, you can roast it at 325 degrees until it reaches around 140-145 degrees internal. I usually use apple wood for smoke. I do it direct on a raised grid and it usually takes an hour to an hour and a half as I recall.

    <p />nodock, it's not necessary to tie it back up if you don't want to. I just cook mine ala London Broil style direct at 350-400° for approx 15 minutes a side. Either way, it's good eating. Follow the link for my recipe..

    I did one on XMas. EVOO and Parsley and garlic on the inside. Rolled up and tied. Put a Turkish rub on the outside and grilled it direct on a raised grill at 350 until it hit 135 internal. It was great!
