Smoking wood here is limited. Would like some apple, maple sugar and pecan woods. Who do you eggsperts use as a wood source? Thanks in advance!

Sandi, if you're close enough to Atlanta, I'll give you some pecan. I sent some to Fireball up in MI but by the time I paid the inflated UPS charge, it may have been cheaper for him to deal with someone who does this for a living. So,if you want to deal with someone who does this for a living try:
    OUTDOORCHEF@AOL.COM
Here the text of a note he sent:
"we have chunks of Mesquite, Oak, pecan, hickory all 30-35 lbs at $12.00 plus shipping.
    Apple at $16.00
We have apple, maple, mequite, hickory, alder, pecan and cherry chips in any size bag you want at $1.25 lb.[p]our little one page website is
www.lubbockhospitalitly.com/outdoorchef"[p]He's also on the forum, so he may come through with your post as well.[p]

My post and Fireball's post will take you to the same final destination. You'll just get there differently.

Sandi,[p]This BGE dealer has a great selection, and they'll sell 20 lb. bags as well as the 2 lb. size offered on the site. The chunks are a good size for the Egg.[p]Cathy
